Just updated to the latest v11.2, and I'm having issues loading metadata from files when I select a large number of files to update. It works on indivual files, but since the update, it will get a few files in and then just stop. If I hit the "x" to stop the process, Lightroom stops performing any other actions. It isnt frozen, I can move around and select different pictures, but when I try to apply a tag, use quick develop or switch to the develop module, read an indivual metadata file, it won't do respond, just pretend as if nothing happened. I have to restart the application to get any functionality back.
OS: Windows 10
Version: 11.2
Reproduce: select several files and select "Metadata -> Read Metadata from File", or click the up arrow in the upper right corner of the thumbnail.
Expected: Lightroom reads and updates metadata from xmp files on disk
Actual: Reading files stops a portion of the way into the batch, and doesn't do anything else.
