Memory usage Lightroom 11.2 PC

Hi to all.

I recently encountered a resource usage problem on my system, once imported the files and making some correction or just browsing photos thr memory consumption rise up fast, in particular Vram, this creates freezes and lag and, in more rare cases, pc crashes.

I use a catalogue with less than 6000 photos and normal previews (not advanced).

Pc specs: Ryzen5 2600, Radeon Vega56 8Gb, 32Gb RAM, Win10.

Have you turned on the preferences option to use graphics processor? I see you are not running 4K and beyond. Not sure about your specific GPU, but some older ones have problems when that option is turned on, and provide no benefit below 4K, so try turning that option off.

Not an AMD customer, and I find understanding NVIDIA driver info a lot better. But that is the Adrenalin driver v 22.1.2. And I see that v22.3.1 is available.You may want to update.
