Bonjour,

Hey, @danield44381908. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Does this happen with every image? Very often, trying to use Edit-in won't work with an image missing its original.

Try these steps to set up or recreate the link between Lightroom Classic & Photoshop 2024.

  • Reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/4fOPxm4
  • Uninstall Photoshop & Lightroom Classic and then install again.
  • Before launching both of the apps, ensure Lightroom Classic & Photoshop have the required permissions on the macOS: https://adobe.ly/4amzwQg
  • Try launching Photoshop first, then Lightroom Classic & check if it behaves as expected.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
Sameer K

Hi @Sameer K , thanks for your feedback !
FYI, by reinstalling an earlier version of Lightroom Classic (14.0.1) it works fine.
But I'll try again with your advice, I'll keep you posted.
Thanks !

And yes, there's the problem with all images (no use of smart previews)

@Sameer K, I followed your instructions precisely.
I still have the problem after PS and LTC reset and reinstallation.
As I really need this gateway between LT and PS, I reinstalled the old version V14.0.1, and I found all the menus and everything worked correctly.
Thank you in advance for any suggestion

Hi @Sameer K

I already encountered the problem on a previous update a few months ago. I remember that it was dealt with as a bug in subsequent upgrades, but I can't remember the version. Do you think we're in the same situation or am I stuck in my future updates?
Thank you
Daniel
