Metadata sync problem

Hello, I am having a keywording problem in Lightroom (macOS - Sonoma 14.2.1). They were adding fine, then suddenly stopped working for some files (but not for others) - I can't seem to add them manually, copy and paste them from other files or by syncing. I can do all of those things, but the caption and title info won't save.

I fixed it by quitting and re-starting the mac. It works again for a while, then starts happening again. So I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

I made a wee screen recording. See attached.

I don't see anything being done with keywords, just with the title and caption, so I changed the title of your post to better describe the problem. I can't reproduce this on my Mac running Lightroom Classic 13.1 in MacOS 14.3.1 however. Have you tried resetting the preferences to see if that fixes it?
