Migrating from Lightroom CC to Classic and cleaning up folder structure

Hi all,

I was a longtime Lightroom Classic user. I switched to Lightroom CC about a year ago, but now want to switch back to Classic as my primary app for two reasons: the print module and the ability to use plugins like Nik Sharpener Pro. That said, I'd like to continue to occasionally use Lightroom CC on my iPhone and iPad.

I saw this post about how to migrate Lightroom CC photos to Lightroom Classic. Seems pretty straightforward.

But before I do that, I want to figure out a folder structure that makes sense, given that I intend to continue to use Lightroom Classic and CC together. Is there a way to set things up so that I will be able to access photos that I upload from an SD card to my library in Classic in Lightroom CC, and be able to access any photos that are added to Lightroom CC (like iPhone photos, for example) in Lightroom Classic?
