Missing Lightroom Classic Shortcut

When Lightroom Classic updated back in August, my shortcut icon disappeared from my desktop.  I didn't realize it right away.

I googled the issue and tried a few remedies.  None of them worked.  

How do I get it back on the desktop.

I can pin it to the taskbar, but I want it on the desktop.

Go to the Start menu, find the Adobe Lightroom Classic item, click and drag to the desktop.  A shortcut will be created on the desktop.
