When Lightroom Cloud came out, it seemed like the perfect solution to years of frustration and mess of pictures. I now have over 130,000 pictures, that I have spent countless hours organizing into folders and albums. Now that I've been using Classic for some side gig work, I really want to move back over to classic. I created a new catalog and turned on sync. All the Albums came over as collections, but I lost the entire folder structure.
Is there anyway to maintain the folder structure (as Collections or anything) in moving back over to Classic? Happy to delete the catalog and start over, I haven’t done anything yet, and Cloud is still my ‘official’ master library.
I’m still a fan of cloud and love that all my pictures are backed up with no effort, just have a new respect for Classic and its speed.

I was never a fan of the cloud version of Lightroom. I have about 5Tb of pictures! 😉

After a lot more research, it appears there is not a solution to this. This is the most infurating software fustration I've ever come across. One company two prodcuts with no real solition to move between them. 100% fail!
So the only option if I want to move back to Classic, is to spend another year re-oganizing 130,000 picutres.
