Moving photos in Grid view

I have the latest LRC update & Windows 10 updated.  When I reorder photos in Grid View, while I am in a subfolder, LRC after so many moves will not let me move anymore UNTIL I close LRC and reopen to start my reordering again.  I am doing this with a bunch of JEG's I just had scanned from my slides

What do you mean by "Moves"? Moving images from folder to folder? Moving from one image to the next? In which module, Library or Develop? And, how many moves are you referring to?

Moving photos within the grid to achieve a Custom order does (or did)  have its limits.

I cannot find a reference in my links to the previous forums, but from memory I think it was a limit of 52 moves.

So maybe this limit still exists in the current v12.

Until this limit is fixed, there is a  Script that makes a Re-launch just a little easier-  http://thephotogeek.com/lightroom-power-nap-restart-script/
