Moving pictures folder from external hard drive to new external hard drive

Hi, I need your kind help.
I am using latest version of LR Classic on my Macbook pro (latest MACOS version).

My pictures are on my old external hard drive and I just purchased a new external SSD hard drive.

My LR catalog is on my Mac hard drive.

I have about 25,000 pictures...

Can you please instruct me how to move my pictures folder from the old HD to the new HD?

I am very afraid to do so...

Thank you in advance

The key to a successful photo migration for one disk to another is retaining the original folder structure. You may find Part 2 of below linked tutorial helpful.

Great news and thanks for confirming that you completed the move successfully. Too often we find folk go at it a 'bull in a china shop' only to end up a with files missing or not where they expected. As I was taught many moons back - "If in doubt, ask"
