Msg must update permissions for LRC?

I just updated my MAC OS and three days later i received a msg saying i have to update my permissions for LRC and give access to my external drives. Is this a scam or hacker, or is it normal? Thanks

It is normal. Do what MacOS asks you to do, or Lightroom will not be able to access those disks.
