Neue Lightroom Classic 13.3: Synchronisierung problems

Hi everybody,

 

after Update of LR Classic and catalog cannot fisnish syncronaization. I have 60k pictures an the cloud, the sync error is not new. Usually I see in the Settings "Lightroom Synchronization" the sync process with file names. In the new version it showes nothing. I do not know wich file I  can remove and reimport. If I press option button (MacBook) and click on the item "show in the web", Safari opened LR in the web and show message 2 errors"

 

Could you please explain how to trobleshoot in this case?

Thanks for a quick answer. I do not have collaction All Sync Error and do not have section Sync Errors in the Web. Should I contact to the support?

Hi, same problem for me. LRc is now syncing for more than 30h . Two times it crashed completly while mac was not in use and LR sync was the only active process

Support via Chat was not a technical support. Agent did connected to my Laptop and says I need to call the number in Frankfurt. They says  in english I call outside of working hours, in german, that there are problems with phone line and I need to contact live chat ... Very strange ..

There were no errors shown in the web. Sync is even not stuck, it's seems to be in a kind of loop.

Exactly the same problem here. 50k photos, 50 GB in size. After update to LRC 13.3, approx. 100 photos should be synchonized. Nothing happend since then. No progress, sync seems to be in a endless loop. Message (german) "Synchronisierungsdaten werden initialisiert" for 7 days now. Please see screen shot. Sync status in internet shows: No errors.

What should I do? Waiting again for serveral days?

My system: MacStudio 2022, Sonoma 14.5, 1.3 TB free space on SSD.

I have similar problem.  One image continues to try to sync.  Web shows no issues.  Multiple reboots.  System is Win11.

Thank you. Yes, I´m aware of that. Diagnostic log already generated. Unfortunately, Adobe support is only available until 5 p.m. on weekdays. Too bad for such a big and important company. I would have expected more...

Actually i was able to fix the problem after a little bit of investigation. First i checked the total number of synced pictures in LRc and lightroom.adobe.com. They were different. After that i checked every single album, but all seemed to be correct, but the addition of all collections was different from 'all synced photos'. Therefore i searched for photos within synced collections with 'synced in Lightroom cloud' (used "any filter" for that) and i found a bunch of missing photographs . In library mode i did a exposure +1 and -1 and waited. It took some time and there was only one 'for ever syncing' picture left. Now i created a logfile fr support and openend it. There is a section Binary Uploader which listed exactly one file. I searched this file, did an exposure change for that pic too and now i'm ready. For the first time since updateing to 13.3 the cloud sign is green!

Incidentally, there is also a difference between LRC and Adobe Web in my collection: But these are exactly the photos that should now be synced to the computer. These are the latest almost 300 photos since the update to version 13.3...

This is incredible: I was able to solve the problem in my case with an extremely simple procedure that I happened to find on the Internet. However, not as a solution to problems with version 13.3. The article was from last fall:

 

Start LRC, stop sync, quit LRC and restart it again. Then start sync again.


And after a short time, all my 500 photos were synchronized from the cloud to the Mac and vice versa.

I was not sure what you meant by 'stop sync'.  I tried 'pause sync' with reboot....no change.  I then unclicked sync on all my collections.....waited (a long time) for 'unsync' to complete, deleted all images in cloud, waited (a long time) for them to all be deleted, re-clicked sync on collections, waited (a long time 😀) for them all to sync.....problem gone....no more sync hang up.
