New Catalog after LR 13.0.1

Explorer ,

I recently upgraded to LR 13.0.1. Now when I open LR, I see a pop-up window asking me if I want to use a newer, upgraded catalog or do I want to upgrade the older catalog. When I look at the details of the supposedly upgraded old catalog, I can't tell if it's the the catalog I had been using prior to upgrade or an older one. So which one should I pick?

Thanks to all who are able to help me.

Upgraded to 13.0.1 from where? From version 12? In that case your catalog does need to be upgraded, so let Lightroom do that. If you came from version 13.0, then there should not be an upgrade again.

I upgraded from 12 and I allowed a catalog copy to be upgraded. Its name is 1319. Why do I get this msg each time I open LR?

You may have set a fixed (old) catalog in the Lightroom Classic preferences. In Preferences - General you can set the catalog to open to 'Most recent', or a specific one. If that specific one is still an old V12 catalog, then Lightroom will ask you the upgrade question each time it launches.

Never thought about that.  Changed catalog settings to "last one used." Works. Thanks tons.
