Apparently a bug exists for German language, try changing to English, I know this from at least two other Discussions.

Would be nice if a member with the problem would report as such under Bugs.

Give that a try.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

i have the same problem: i edit a pic and all of a sudden it freezes.

i noticed it freezes when changing from one picture to another in edit mode or when zooming in on a picture.

i used lr for an hour and it freezed and crashed 3 times.

it is also much slower than before, even tough i have gpu enabled.

also no error messages on crash.

Sorry guys, i have to admit: i am stupid.

i found my C: drive full (99%) so Lightroom could not work properly i guess...

the big chunks of data was in the adobe lightroom

CRLogs folder

was over 85gb of data... i deleted it so now i do not have any problems with ligthroom anymore.

Sorry for wasting your time.

From another discussion, although a different OS, and from past occasional similar issue.

Consider uninstalling the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, then installing a fresh new copy.
