Nikon 70-200VR2 profile issue

Hi there - I am having an issue in LR with my Nikon 70-200VR2 lens profile

When I apply the profile it seems to 'ver-compensate' for the lens vignetting putting a lighter vignette around the image.

I've attached some samples.

It's not an issue with any other lens I use so it may be the lens itself but if so, what could be causing it?

With thanks, Simon

I wonder if the defaults were changed. You can always reduce the Vignetting amount slider, then in Setup, Save New Lens Profile defaults.

Thanks for your reply Sean - I've tweaked the vignetting back to 55 and saved it as you noted. It's not perfect but better. I had created a Preset but what you described is much more efficient.

I have to do this for the Samyang 12mm in Fuji as it brightens the edges too much. At least it's helping.
