Lightroom Classic 12.2 fails to detect camera for tethered capture via USB-C or USB to Nikon D850 firmware v1.30 on Windows 10.

After reviewing old comments on this topic I downloaded Capture One 23 and the connection was instant.

Any suggestions?

I'll help you with this. This started happening when you updated the camera's firmware.

Restart the camera while plugging it into the computer as a basic step. If this does not help, try updating the USB drivers for the Camera in the Windows Device manager. You can also reset Lightroom's preferences (use method 2):

Please try the steps in this article to ensure a stable connection with the camera: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-tethered-capture-lightroom.html

Let me know how it goes from here,

Thanks!
