No Lightroom app works for me

Hi everyone
I have a problem with Lightroom , when I click on import data, it just hangs.
I reset the computer, hoping it might work out, but still not working out, and it does not work and is very frustrating.
I would appreciate help please

Which exact version of Lightroom?

Which camera?
Are you directly connecting the camera or using a card reader?

Which type of import? (add, copy, DNG)

Where are the destination files set to?
