Hello all. I have several images originally edited in an older version of Lightroom. I would like to re-edit them in LRC (current version). How can I get the current tools to open instead of the old Exposure/Recover sliders version?
You need to change to the current process version. You might want to (or you might not want to) keep a copy of the old edit via a virtual copy or a snapshot.
To change to the current process version, click on the lightning bolt icon under the histogram.
The lightning bolt icon is a shortcut for the Photo > Develop Settings > Update to Current Process Version command.
If you want to update many at once, choose Library > Find Previous Process Photos. Then choose Edit > Select All on the results, and use the command above.
If you want to start over completely with an image, the Reset button (or the Settings > Reset All Settings command and keyboard shortcut) not only restores the selected image to the current defaults, but also to the current process version.
