Hey, @Dave28423631xf2h. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll move the thread to a separate post for now as the parent thread is too old, and the issue reported are likely fixed.

What operating system are you working on? Have you recently updated Photoshop 2024? Please update Photoshop via the Creative Cloud desktop app to the latest version & check if the issue exists.

If it does, you can set up or recreate the link between Lightroom Classic & Photoshop 2024.

Try these steps.

  • Reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/48fAc9Z
  • Uninstall Photoshop & Lightroom Classic and then install again.

If you're on macOS, ensure Lightroom Classic & Photoshop have the required permissions on the macOS: https://adobe.ly/4amzwQg

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
Sameer K

Thanks for your help with this. I'm running Windows 11 Home. I have removed LRC and PS, installed an earlier version that didn't work so I installed the latest version of LRC and PS.  I had lens correction checked on all of the photos that I wanted to edit in PS as layers. I removed lens correction on all photos and then I was able to open as layers in PS. I guess I just have to remember to make sure lens correction isn't checked next time. Thanks again
