Lightroom Classic will not show centimeters or inches in the Cropped Size metadata. I highly doubt this will be added in future versions of LrC. Digital photos do not have sizes in inches or centimeters, unless you also know the pixels per inch or pixels per centimeter that you want to print at.

You don't have to open the photos in Photoshop, you can do the math yourself with a calculator or in your head. If you want to print at 300 pixels per inch, and the photo is (for example) 1800x1200 pixels in the Cropped Size metadata, then divide by 300 and you get 6x4 inches. It works the same for centimeters, if you want to print at 118 pixels per centimeter then divide by 118 and you get 15.25 x ____ cm (you can do the math and fill in the blank).

In the Export dialog box, you can specify the number of centimeters or inches you want in the Image Sizing box. In the Print module, you can also specify the dimensions to be printed in centimeters or inches.

I have to disagree. If you want to print 6 inches x 4 inches at 300 pixels (or centimeters) per inch, you do the calculation once and that gives you 1800x1200 pixels. Then any photo less than 1800 x 1200 will not give you the quality you want.

I seriously doubt that LrC will add this feature as digital files are not measured in inches or centimeters, they are measured in pixels.

The Any Crop plugin displays the current dimensions in pixels, inches, and centimeters:
