I have hundreds of photos in a single folder on my local HDD. Those photos have been imported into Lightroom Classic. In LRC the photos have been edited, assigned keywords, colors, flags, and sorted into collections(and smart collections), etc. I understand the originals on the local HDD are never changed in any way but the edits are applied when the photo is exported.(?) The photos (graphs, charts, tables etc) are to be used in a 10 chapter document. The goal is to have these exports available by chapter in the sequence they would be used in each of the documents (like they are arranged in a collection). What is a useable workflow to accomplish this? Does it mean creating new folders for each chapter and putting the exports there or is there another way (or easier way)?

You can export from the collection either all of the images with file naming in sequential order. Or you can select by chapter and export using custom file name and sequence Custom Text "CHapter one" start #001
