Bonjour, 

 

J'utilise très souvent Lightroom. Aujourd'hui, impossible d'ouvrir mon catalogue alors que je l'ai ouvert la semaine dernière ... 

Voici le message qui s'affiche en pièce jointe. 

 

Que dois-je faire ? Je ne vais pas refaire un nouveau catalogue ?

Are you talking about Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)? What version NUMBER? What operating system version NUMBER?

Check if there is a .lock file in the catalog folder and delete it before starting Lightroom. I'm only guessing from my schoolboy French.

Google translation of the error message: "The Lightroom catalog cannot be used because the parent folder "/Volumes/LACIE SETUP/My passport external hard drive/LR.organization/CR-LRCatalog" does not allow creating files. Modify the access rights to the folder before continuing or choose another catalog."

First, go to the Mac System Preferences and make sure Lightroom Classic has access to all the categories of folders, as shown below:

Next, in Finder, right-click the volume LACIE SETUP and do Get Info. What is shown for Format?

Is it NTFS or something else?
