Issue
When scrolling through list of masking effects, mouse scroll wheel does not work under Windows (it works under MacOS).

  • Lightroom Classic Version Number
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic Vesion 11.2 with Camera Raw 14.2
  • OS Version Number: Windows 11 Pro, Version 21H2, Build 22000.556

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Lightroom Classic
  2. Select a picture
  3. In Develop mode, click on Masking symbol
  4. Click on Effect field
  5. Use mouse scroll wheel to scroll through a longer list of effects

Expected result: list should scroll
Actual result: list does not scroll. It only scrolls, when I click with the left mouse button on the arrow button bottom left or top left of the list.

I have an inquiry with the team, but it runs in my memory that this might be a Windows design limitation. When they respond, I will update this post.

Update: This behavior is "as-designed" currently scrolling in Drop Down menus is not supported on Windows..

Using the scroll wheel works on my Mac OS 11.6.2 but not Windows 10 (LR 11.2).
