P: UI redraws twice while walking images

double loading interface bug from versions 13.5 to 14.0.1 , when you are working with smart previews ( not raw files ) when you press next / previous photo on the keyboad the UI ( basic panel etc ) loads two time and is messing with pressing shortcuts too fast if you go to the next picture.

this is a bug not a discussion, why was that moved ?

The forum rules are that a bug report needs to be verified before it gets a bug number and is added to the bug tracking system. One person reporting something is more often than not an issue with that person's system, not a bug in Lightroom. So until a bug report has been verified and confirmed, it is a discussion.

That makes sense, it happens on 2 different mac OS and a windows pc on my end 🙂

That makes it much more likely that it is indeed a bug. I'll try to reproduce it on my Mac later today.

I tried it on my MBP M1 Max, running MacOS Sonoma 14.7.1, but I cannot reproduce it. I disconnected the external drive that contains my images, so I was using smart previews only, and no matter how fast I go from one image to another, I cannot get the interface to disbehave like that.

So perhaps you should do the following:

1: State the system specs of each computer that shows this behavior,

2: Describe exactly where you are (Library/Develop, grid view/loupe view/compare view) when this happens,

3: Record a screen video to show it and attach that video.

I recreated it on another windows pc , indeed latest mac os fixes it , but still is a problem on windows , can someone check it ?

Issue occurs in Develop mode. When using Smart Previews disconnected from the raw files and moving to the next or previous photo, the controls load twice when they usually only load once. Doesn't happen when selecting a photo by clicking in the filmstrip.

Same problem here:

When using the arrows to move from one image to the next. Redraws panels twice.

Does not happen when clicking on the filmstrip.

Also, the "Profile" line loads later (lag) and causes all the sliders to "move" down after they have been drawn.
