People mask feature segments

Using people mask, any adjustment to hair affects all other selections like lips and face.  It is as if the selections I check fail to make segments yet I generate seperate masks but I make seperate masks and I can select them individually but any adjustment affects all segments.

Are you perhaps, in the general panel, cranking up clarity, either before or after masking? Say something a bit large, like 50%. If so, a possible Cameta RAW bug.

closed LR classic and restarted my iMac and then launched LR classsic and the masks seems to be working fine, thanks
