People No Longer Discovered in Masking Tool

I have the latest version of Lightroom Classic using apple Ventura. One of my last edits using the masking tool, the software did not recognize any people in the photo. There were only 4 of them and the software said no people detected. In another photo of 4 prominent people, the software only detected two of the four people. Not sure if this is a bug or what but this is a first for me.

Export one of the photos as a JPEG and attach it here, and we can see if the issue is with LR in general or your specific installation.

My LR 12.2.1 also detects four people in that JPEG.  Import that JPEG into your LR -- does LR detect people in that JPEG but not in the original ORF?

Also, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running.

Do give the Mac a few seconds to find them all and list them as seen.
