Photos figées !

Community Beginner ,
Oct 12, 2025 Oct 12, 2025

WTF !!! SOS !!!

In a first step try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/preference-file-and-other-file-locations.html

If thi doesn't help, you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html

If it's help see here Troubleshoot GPU issues | Lightroom Classic (adobe.com) and check the different steps.

If this doesn't help we need more informations about your environment. Please provide also a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Please do Help > System Info and report the version number, not "last" or "latest".  (People often think they're on the "latest" when they're not, and future readers of this thread will want to know the version number.)

Hi, thanks for sharing the system info, and we're sorry about the trouble!

Please try the steps suggested by @AxelMatt and also check if the option to automatically write changes to XMP is enabled, as @johnrellis suggested. If it is, try disabling it and then relaunching Lightroom Classic to see if it makes a difference.

It seems you have 2 monitors connected to the machine that you've shared the system info of. If the issue persists, try disconnecting secondary monitor to see how it goes.

Thanks,
Nikunj
