Photos not pulling up in PS from LR

After the latest updates (PS 2024), pulling photos into PS from LR is not working. It saves metadata for a long time and nothing happens after that. Sometimes asking a second time, they will pull up VERY slowly. Sometimes I can try 5 times and they will not pull up into PS. It is also forcing me to overwrite metadata when I used to hit 'cancel' and they pulled into PS. I just spent 3 hours on the phone with Adobe and we didn't fix the problem.
