I am editing some work using Lightroom Classic. Some images I'm clearning up using photoshop. I was running out of space on my C drive and noticed there was a photoshop update on my CC account. I tried to update it but it kept failing. So I uninstalled my Photoshop to free more space. Then tried to upload the new one. I have 7.5 GB of space. surely that's enough? Not uploading. Failed each time. 😞 Any suggestions?

1. See the Adobe Photoshop System Requirements:

For Windows, minimum hard drive space (on C drive typically) is listed as 20 GB, So yep, 7.5 GB too small.

That uninstall may or may not have caused the Photoshop program files to be placed into your Windows Recycle Bin. The files in the recycle bin still count against your hard drive space. You might consider flushing the Recycle bin (inspect first, anything you did not actually want deleted??)

2. While you are at it, double check that your GPU driver is up to date. This probably does not effect a PS install, but it could effect a LrC update, if that GPU driver is extremely out of date.
