In the last month or so I cannot open a NEF (Raw) file when going using Edit In Photoshop. I have a network drive where I store my photos. It always worked in the past but recently with new updates something is preventing it. Is there a solution in the community for this?

Ron

So I did some testing. On MacOS, If I have LR and PS Running I can drag an image from LR over to PS and it will open in Camera Raw and will open in PS. But the Edit In menu option seems to be missing something. That is when it does not work. Using the Edit In Menu option.

There has been an update to Lightroom Classic yesterday version 12.5, and a Photoshop update a couple days ago.
Update both applications using the Adobe Creative Cloud application, Photoshop first and then LrC.

Unfortunately you don't wrote anything about your system.
Which operating system (and version) and which version of the Adobe applications (LR and PS) you're using.
But one thought: try to install the latest LR update to version 12.5 and check if it's working.

Macbook Pro Apple M1 - Ventura 13.2.1
Lightroom 12.5 (updated this morning before I posted here)
Is not working. When I select an Image in Lightroom then right - click to get the menu, then Edit In Photoshop. Photoshops launches but just get blank screen.

Additional: I switch my preference in Lightroom for the Edit In Option back to Photoshop 2022. It works on that. I have Photoshop 2023 Version 24.7.0 that is not working.
I went ahead and update my operating system also. Still not working. But it does work in Photoshop 2022.

Well I found another solution by doing a more thorough Google Search. I uninstalled Photoshop saving my preferences and reinstalled. All is good now. Thanks everyone. Here is a link to the other thread in case someone else is interested.
