Photoshop Window not coming to the front when using Edit in Photoshop from LR

Long title. Sorry.  But when I edit a photo from LR in PS using either Command E or right clicking on the photo and choosing Edit in Photoshop, the Photoshop window does come to the front.  I swear it used to.  The photo is open in PS but I have to manually bring it to the front.  Anyone else see this behavior?

Hi kentmcpherson,

Sorry that Photoshop is not coming to front while editing images from Lightroom. Could you please let us know the version of Lightroom and Photoshop you're using? Does Photoshop opens the image and the edit in workflow works fine otherwise?

Thanks,

Akash

Latest versions of PS and LR CC.  Yes, it works fine otherwise.  Just more of a nuisance than anything.

I'm also having this issue after upgrading to 24.4.1. Windows 10.  The taskbar tab turns orange, but I have to click on it to get Photoshop to come forward.

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks,

David

You’ve posted to a very old thread. It is highly unlikely that the issue described in this thread, though not impossible, is the same issue which you are currently experiencing. Rather than resurrect an old thread that is seemingly similar, you are better posting to a new thread with fresh, complete information including system information, a complete description of the problem and step-by-step instructions for reproduction.

In the unlikely event the issue is the same, we will merge you back into the appropriate location.

Thank you!
