Up to LR Classic release 11.4 the watermark feature to use a PNG file for a graphic water works. However, in release 11.5 choising a PNG file as watermark results in no watermark at all. I am running LR Classic on MacOS Monterey 12.6.

Lots of people have been having problems with graphic watermarks in LR 11.4. See if this post helps:
