Preview not available for file

Hello, I have downloaded Lightroom classic from the creative cloud app ( I purchased the “photography Plan”) and have tried to import my canon raw photos(CR3 files) and for some reason, I get message on my photos saying “the preview is not available for this file”

What is the LrC version?

Latest would be v11

What is your MACOS name/version

What is your camera make/model? CR3 files, so Canon, but what model?
