Problème LrC "An internal error has occurred - Invalid path"

New Here ,
Nov 01, 2025 Nov 01, 2025

Bonjour,

"An internal error has occurred.

Invalid path."

Des pistes pour ce problème ?

Translation to English:

I switch my LrC from PC to Mac.

Please explain, step by step, how you did this.

A very large part of my Raw is on a Synology NAS, but for those, when I make it look for the missing files

Please tell us the exact steps you used to make it look for the missing files.

"An internal error has occurred. Invalid path."

Are there more words to this message? Does it actually tell you which path is invalid?

LrC works with files raw and these are on differents media (internal disk or external). When you changes the place of these files, LrC demands the new place (with the message "Find missing folder"). Then, if I go to folder on my NAS (external disk Synology), I can select the folder, but I a popup with the message "An internal error has occurred. Invalid path."

I am not a Mac user, however it does happen that sometimes external drives and NAS drive "go to sleep". You could check for that. Otherwise, I'm sure that other Mac users will join this thread to provide additional advice.
