I have a large collections of photos, and I want to open them with LrC, but no matter what I try, LrC doesn't start up anymore. What can be wrong?
kind regards
John
Thank you all for the responses.
Someway there was a version of adobe lightroom in the taskbar manager, and it kept coming although I restarted my computer.
After I deleted this version, I restarted my laptop, and there it was: Lightroom did it
so case closed

I don't get an error message, that's the problem. LrC doesn't start at all

How far do you get into the process of opening Lightroom Classic? Do you see the splash screen? Do you see the Lightroom Classic window?

On my desktop and on my taskbar is an icon with LrC. When I click the icon, it seems to start, (I see a blue circle, something is waiting), but after a few seconds the circle disappears and nothing happens anymore.
So no spash screens, or a Lightroom window
