What has happened to denoise in Lightroom classic, it worked great befor the new very slow auto denoise was added to the last update and now the manual denoise seems not to work at all?
What do you mean it "does not work at all"? Can't you find the sliders anymore? If so, click on the triangle to expand the panel. Or do the sliders somehow not work for you?
