Hello,

I recently upgraded to a new computer, but can not install lightroom on there, because the Adobe website tels me the serialnumber is already in use. Who should I contact to get this sorted? I know there was a phone number to call some ages ago.

What version of LR?

There is no serial numbers for recent version though CC.

IF you have an old version that actually activates though a serial number and Adobe server, you'll have to contact Adobe directly for a fix (they can find and 'kill' that other activation).

Thank you for your reply.

It concerns Lightroom 6

I tried finding contact data on the site you just linked to. Will have another look there. Thank you very much 🙂

@TheDigitalDog has given the correct answer. I add some more details-

Here is a direct link to Chat to Adobe. You need to be Signed-in to your Adobe ID and allow cookies in your browser.

Begin a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen.

If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device to start the interaction

When you 'Chat' to Adobe, insist that you only want your Activations Reset, and you are not asking for "support".

There are other forum threads with the same topic. For example-
