Problems with Ai masking in 14.1.1

When using the Ai masking selection on an image the select subject and the select background opens the mask window but then it immediately closes with performing any action.

The select sky mask does work correctly.

Your machine's Graphics processor (GeForce GT 720, released in 2014) barely meets the minimum system requirements to install and run Lightroom Classic. As per the system info you attached, GPU and AI-accelerated features will be difficult to use.

Building on Sameer's reply, while you have the most recent graphics driver, Nvidia stopped providing full updates for the GT 730 in 2021 -- updates since then are "security update" drivers, meaning they're just fixing bugs that create security vulnerabilities (probably in the utilities, not the driver itself).  LR is very sensitive to bugs in graphics drivers, so it's very likely LR is tripping over a driver bug that will never get fixed.
