Problems with photo previews - Library module

Hello, good evening.
I have a problem that I can't solve or find answers to.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled older and newer versions, I've changed the smart views, and I still have the same problem.
My photos, some of them, in the library module, the thumbnail disappears, the editing given to the photos disappears and they are only visible in the development module, but if I advance the photo, it disappears. The editing is recorded in the xml, because when I export it, it's edited, but I have reduced visibility and I can't make editing comparisons. 😞
Has anyone experienced this?
I'm about to delete the previews file, could this be a conflict with that file?Captura de ecrã 2024-07-29, às 21.07.23.png

You may need to rebuild/repair your catalog. But first, yes you can delete the previews folder and let LR recreate it.

You have this icon on all the greyed out thumbnails, which means (according to the Lightroom Queen) that LrC is "checking if the previews are current, building new previews, or waiting for a better quality thumbnail to load."

So there is definitely a problem with your preview cache, try deleting the Previews.lrdata folder.

Lumigraphics thanks for the suggestion.
We have two files, Smart previews and previews
I'm considering starting with the smaller one, it's 200mb and Previews is 400GB. 😞

Per Berntsen, yes I had already identified that, I even changed the preview settings to low, medium and high. But it doesn't solve it. Unfortunately. I've been working with LR for 12 years, and I've never had a problem like this.
Deleting the previews has been an option on the table, but I'm afraid something might go wrong, so I'm duplicating them in a different folder and trying to see if it works or not.

Deleting the preview cache is considered to be safe, I have never seen any reports about it going wrong.

But to be on the safe side, you can move it to a different location (or rename it) which will have the same effect as deleting it, causing previews to be rebuilt as you browse folders in Library. (you can also click on All photographs in the Catalog panel, select all, and go to Library > Previews > Build standard size previews, and leave it running overnight)

If anything should go wrong, you can always move it back, or rename it back to the original name.

Ok, I'll try that, I've read that yes, there is no problem deleting previews. In the middle of a wedding season, not having access to the photos would be a huge headache.
Thanks for the tips, I'll give you feedback.

The update to LrC 13.3  had an upgrade of the Previews system.  There are other reports of this happening on the forums.  This may be a leftover from that upgrade.

Okay, so that's where the problem lies.

“Thank you adobe for warning users of this possibility.
