after two weeks not using my computer (and thus also LR Classinc), I cannot open the LRC Classic program anymore. (after update 13.5.1.).

Please describe in detail what happens when you try to open LrC. If there is an error message, please quote the complete exact word-for-word error message.
Please tell us which version of Windows you have.

When I click on the LRC icon, you see a small circle turning around for a few seconds and than the small circle disappeares without an error message. The program does not start.
We use windows version 11.

If you open the task manager in Windows and end the Lightroom Classic task, can you start LrC then?

We indeed tried to close the LrC in the task manager and tried to start it up again, also closed down the PC and restarted it: no impact . We also have removed the program LRC via the adobe ctreative cloud an reinstalled it again. However nothing changed: you see a small circle turning around for a few seconds and than the small circle disappeares without an error message. The program simply does not start. We also checked versions of Windows and LrC. Before this period of two weeks I never had any problems with the use of LrR. So, strange....

Can you create a new user profile on your computer, and install LrC into that profile?

Same here. Windows 11. x64 . After 13.5.1 update Lightroom no longer starts.
Windows event log does not show anything Lightroom-related.
Is there a log file that app creates when it fails to start?

Everything we tried did not solve the issue: since 13.5.1. update we cannot open lightroom. Adobe please take action !
