Hello,
I've assembled a 140 page book within LRC with text pages in between photo pages. When down loading to a PDF for publisher, I get following error "An error occurred while saving the book. An error occurred adding text and fonts to the book."
This was not an issue with my last computer. I just transfered all my files to a new Windows 11 machine and reloaded all my images in LRC on this computer.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but i see that many others have had this same issue and I've seen no resolution. I need to get this book out ASAP and this error message has everything at a standstill.

Book problems can be hard to diagnose, so I insert below some general notes I have accumulated from other forum threads in the past- Experiment with a COPY of your book and work your way through them and until you find the problem. Good luck. My first thought is that you do not have a compatible (or same) font in Win-11.
First- Duplicate the Saved Book Collection in the collections panel- and experiment with the copy.
Notes-
Keep a record of the fonts you plan to use, and make sure you follow that plan as you build your book. Feel free to change your plan, but it is a good idea to test all new fonts.
Testing Fonts- Create a test book with a few sample pages with the fonts you plan to use, and make sure the test book can successfully be saved as a PDF without generating an error message. This verifies that the fonts you plan to use are compatible.
-If you get an error in your book, you can find the page that contains incompatible text font by clicking on the progress bar on the upper left while you are saving to PDF. An information box appears, showing the pages saved from front to back. Waiting for this is tedious, but it will show you the page that is trying to be saved when the incompatible font is encountered.
Go to that page in your book (and perhaps the pages before and after, just to be sure) and look for the offending font. Here’s how to find it:
-Look at the page text and photo text (and text boxes on page templates that include text boxes).
-Select all the text in these areas to ensure that all the fonts are compatible, and that no incompatible fonts have found their way into your text.
Empty text boxes can generate this error message if they are formatted to use an incompatible font. Remove any page and photo text that is empty.

This problem was first reported in 2015, I reported it and several similar Book->PDF problems direct to Adobe several times in 2018 along with detailed one-page examples that gave rise to them. And today I get 2 of them yet again. Do Adobe even care about the Book module despite charging monthly fees to maintain their software? And that ignores many of the quirky behaviour of the book module that you just learn to live with.
I am usually very understanding of the difficultes of complex software, but really this is terrible customer service. Pleas just FIX IT!!

I might advise repeating your post in the 'Bugs' or 'ideas' forum sections where Adobe staff may be more likely to read your post.
'Discussions' are mostly read and answered by other 'Community' readers just like you, and we cannot "Fix it".!
Do they care? About the Book Module? Maybe! It does get very occasional upgrades, but I suspect Adobe would prefer you to pay for In-Design for any 'serious' book creation. And for LrC we learn to live with it. 😞
