"Edit in photoshop" grayed out, not working.

I have seen multiple pleople reporting the same issue, I have tried all the suggestions I have seen in others aswered posts (soft uninstalls, LrC external editing preferences changes, having the original files availables, etc). Won't work in neither of my RAW or JPEG files. Both programs are the lates and only version in my computer, seens is a new laptop and I downloaded both for the first time from Adobe Creative Cloud. Also tried changing "from lightroom" collection to "smart collections" saw no difference.

Typically this means the original photo is missing. In the thumbnails, be that grid view or filmstrip, is their an ! mark near upper right corner?
