Hi everyone!
Recently, Fujifilm released the 4.0 firmware for the GFX 100 camera, including the "Nostalgic Negative" film profile.
Despite that, this film profile does not appear in the list alongside the other film profiles (Astia, Provia, Velvia, etc) in LRC.
Why not?
Is this a Fuji problem or a LRC problem?
Note: The newer GFX 100s camera has this profile (Nostalgic Negative) and it works properly in LRC.
I'm using LRC on an M1 MacBook Pro but it's also broken on the PC version.
Thanks!

BTW to be clear, I installed the 4.0 firmware in the GFX 100, before anyone asks 🙂 Thanks.

The Camera Matching profiles are for individual cameras, not for individual sensors, or in camera processors. It does not matter if another camera of the same brand, etc has the particular profile in LrC. For example Fujifilm GFX 100S, vs GFX 100.
So, if the camera firmware update that provided a new film simulation is after the current LrC update date, no such Camera Matching Profile, not the new film simulation, just the previous ones.
Fujifilm GFX100, Firmware v4, date: 30 Jun 2021
LrC v10.3 date: 7 Jun 2021
This will cause a obvious question.
When?
Not Adobe, have no clue, and Adobe dies not share such info.
P.S. Apparently the camera mfg and Adobe do not share all that well pre release of new cameras or firmware updates.

Lightroom's 'camera profiles' are not the same as the in-camera profiles created by the camera manufacturer. They are profiles that Adobe made to try to match the in-camera profiles as well as possible. So if Fuji adds another profile to your camera via an update, that profile won't automatically be in Lightroom too. Adobe will have to create its own profile that matches this, and add it in a update.

Thank you! Adobe, please enable this Nostalgic Negative profile for the GFX 100 as well!
You've already done all the work for the GFX 100s... just need to flip a switch in the code and add it to the GFX 100 too (same sensor!).
