"Unexpected error opening catalog" happening again. Please help!

Iesterday night I installed an update of MacOs Big Sur and since I restarted the computer I'm no longer able to run Lightroom Classic. I receive The error message "Unexpected error opening catalog". I read that this has happened already in the past. Any suggestion for fixing the bug?
