As a longtime participant here, I got tired of my own misspellings and reading those of others. The forum platform inexplicably disables browsers' built-in spell checking, and the forums' spell-check button is quite lame compared to Chrome and Firefox, so lame that most of us don't use it. So I wrote a simple userscript that re-enables browser spell checking; see here for easy install instructions:
