Recovery Deleted Data

Hi, 

I have deleted raw images from lightroom and then permanetly deleted them by accident. Is there any way of recovery after that? I really need them as they are wedding photos.

maybe still in your trash/bin, your backup, or failing that, some recovery software.  Lightroom does not store a copy, only poorer quality previews in the preview folders, which if you are desparate you might be able to access - I have not explored that before.

Assuming you haven't formatted or overwritten, it would be worth checking your SD memory card.

As @p.ewing16 suggests, it may have to be recovery software. If you don't add anything much to your drive, they should be recoverable.. Data Rescue, Do Your Data, Cisdem, Drive Genius are some of the ones out there. You should have one just in case always. 

Also do you have the memory cards still? Again these can aslo be recovered.

So I did a data recovery and got back most of the 20K photos I accidentally "permanently" deleted, but NONE of my saved edited watermarked photos recovered.  Am I missing a data transfer or something, or are they just *gone* 😰

Glad you found the images.  If you mean the photo edits as they appear in Lightroom are missing, then it sounds like you have not recovered the catalogue file from that same time: <name>.lrcat - recover that and then open it rather than some more recent .lrcat file.   

Otherwise maybe you mean images that have been exported from Lightroom with a watermark - if so then these will need to be found, maybe however you got the source images back.

These watermarks would only appear on the exported photos. They would not appear watermarked in LrC. So export again.
