Hey. Hey. I'm trying to reinstall my Lightroom Box 6.14 after reinstalling win10 home 64bit. I came across a message that "Access has been temporarily blocked for security reasons. And that I should contact Adobe support - but I can't. Can you please advise.

Yes, I contacted Adobe support, but they told me to write here because there is no support for Lightroom anymore.

No, there is no support for your version of Lightroom Classic (at that time it still was called Lightroom). The message you get is, however, from the time when there still was support, five years ago.

Not sure why you chose the Stock Contributor's forum. This really needs you to contact Adobe support. Why can't you do that?

Surely they did not advise you to post in the Stock Contributors forum. Each forum has its specialists, so we are just as baffled as you. You might try the Lightroom Classic forum. https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/ct-p/ct-lightroom-classic?page=1&sort=latest_replie...  or the Account payment & plan forum https://community.adobe.com/t5/account-payment-plan/ct-p/ct-account-payment-and-plan?page=1&sort=lat...

Like the others said, wrong forum for this.  Hopefully a moderator can get it to the right place 🙂

Yes, Lightroom 6.14 is dated by a few years I believe and support is no longer offered.  I believe the authenticator has been shut down.  I feel like I've seen a post about this though, let me see if I can find it.

What is your Windows OS version? Is it perhaps v7? Or worst yet, v8?

If so, see: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/eol-tls-support.html

I have win10 64bit home. The problem is on the adobe side, they just block me from installing and refuse to address it. I have had this program purchased for a long time and until 14 days ago I was using it successfully until reinstalling the system.

Adobe does not "Block" you from installing v6.14. But consider all of the following-

1) Lightroom v6 (Perpetual) is not supported by Adobe. (No advice is given)
2) Lr6 cannot be updated from Adobe.
3) Lr6 requires a Serial Number to install.
4) Lr6 can be installed as Perpetual or Creative Cloud Subscription. Do NOT install the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App if you want to use v6.14 as "Perpetual".
5) Lr6 must be ACTIVATED to be useable (beyond a Trial term)  See #11.
6) You cannot Activate online to Adobe within the App.
7) You cannot De-activate online to Adobe within the App.
8) Lr6 is not known to be compatible with Windows-11. It will not install in Mac iOS (BigSur, Catalina, Monterey)
9) Downloads for v6.14 are currently available for a limited time at - Lightroom 6 End of Support
11) Activating Lr6 can only be Activated/ Deactivated by a Chat to a sympathetic Support staff member, or a Private Message to Careeesa- As in forum thread:  Activation or Deactivation versions of Lightroom

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.

Problem solved by our own efforts. Thank you all for your interest and support. For future generations 😊 I will list the procedure here.
1. disconnect from the internet - otherwise the installer will prevent you from installing with a message that you have been temporarily blocked from access for security reasons - contact Adobe support for more information (unfortunately this is a false message due to the end of support for this program)
2. At the point when the installer offers you 2 options, back and log in, choose to log in even if you are disconnected from the internet. When you click on log in, you will be offered the option of logging in later. When you click on log in later, it will start installing the program - yay.
3. After the installation, the program still won't run because an older version of the program - Adobe installation manager - prevents it from running when you reconnect to the internet, updating to the Adobe Creative Cloud version.
4. After updating this manager, log in with your usual ACC credentials and Lightroom 6.14 will launch. Three cheers. 😊
