Reinstalling LR Classic getting error code 146 in the Creative Cloud Desktop Application

I had to force quite LR Classic.  Now it won't launch.  I uninstalled and am trying to reinstall but it won't.  It's giving me error code 146.

If that does not help. then try downloading the app directly from here: Download Creative Cloud apps

Restart your computer. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app and then try installing LR from that.

I did what you suggested and downloaded from your reference below. Crash report popped up which I sent to you. I think it has something to do with my catalog since I always have to point it to my SSD drive (attached) and then it crashes.

Oh no! That shouldn't be happening! Have you tried creating a new catalog to see if it crashes?

How would I create a new catalog? Would I rename my existing catalog? How would I know if my existing catalog is corrupted?
