Scroll won't stop using the keyboard arrows on the bottom bar

I'm in Library, Loupe View. I use my arrows on the keyboard left and right to scroll through pictures. Then I hold either key of a couple of seconds and when I release it, the pictures should stop scrolling. However it continues scrolling and very quickly. There is no way to stop it, clicking or escape won't work. Just switching to another program and coming back. This is very annoying as I can't scroll quickly through my pictures. I get very frustrated.

Strange

Confirm you have no plugins/third part apps running - things like Webroot or other apps lke VPNS etc. can override keys in apps.

Easiest way to check is to start your Mac in safemode and seeing if the issue persists. If it does it's likely a bug.

To me - it sounds like a bug in Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 on macOS. Holding the arrow keys shouldn’t continue scrolling after release. You can temporarily stop it by switching to another app and coming back, but that’s not ideal.

If you can confirm the behaviour happens in the safe mode I can move it to the bugs section for closer analysis.

Thanks
