Did search using find in lightroom Classic. All the images are grayed out and will not display in Develope.

What do you mean with "did search using find"?

went to edit/find filled in the search bar upper right of library hit return got 603 responces of which majority were grayed out.
Can you please post a screenshot. It may help to understand your problem.
