Hi,

I've updated to the latest Version of LRC and everysince I noticed a significant drop in performance. I am not even able to use brush strokes anymore (doge / burn). Same with seeing sliders moving and a significant lag in the new setting being applied to my picture.

LR has gotten slower and slower and I don't really understand why. My catalogue is not to crazy big (maybe I add 100GB / year to my catalogue as I maybe have 2-3 things I shoot per year.

1. latest version

2. macos latest version (MBP 15 2016 16GB Ram)

3. can't edit -> easy to reproduce

4 wish I could edit.

Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated.

Julian

1. latest version

Often a meanigless statement. Have actually had members state that only to find out that they had v6.14, three plus years after Adobe moved on. Members have also assumed latest version for OS as they have auto update turned on, only to find they were a good three versions out if date.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

Next troubleshooting steps:

1. Do you experience slider lag on photos without any brush masks? Or does the lag occur only on photos with brushing?

2. Try setting Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Off. Does the lag go away?
